Pack 55 In-Person Field Day/Recruitment Event and Backyard Camping/Virtual Campfire
November 7, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Pack 55 In-Person Field Day and Recruiting Event – Scouts will engage in socially distanced activity stations and rank advancement. We will have knot tying, compass course, pinewood derby cars, and much more. Scouts will rotate through a series of scouting-related stations doing fun activities. This is also a pack recruiting event. If you have a friend who wants to check out Pack 55, then please invite them. Pre-Arrival Self Health Check and Arrival Health Screening will be conducted (please bring these forms with you pre-filled out to speed up the check-in process); social distancing protocols (> 6′ separation between people not from the same household) will be mandatory. Face masks covering the nose and mouth will be required. Scouts/parents will move through the activity stations as a family team (or the scout can go individually). Hand Sanitizer stations will be available, and activity stations will be cleaned as needed between participants. Because the St John the Divine buildings are closed, there will not be bathroom facilities readily available (except in case of emergencies, and for the volunteers who will be present for multiple shifts – all SJD building entrants will need to register with the security guard).
Please plan to attend the November 7th Field Day during your rank assigned time:
9-10:30 AM: Lions and Tigers
10:45 AM- 12:15 PM: Wolves and Bears
12:30- 2 PM: Webelos/AOL
Then, join us for the Saturday night virtual campfire from 7pm – 8pm on Zoom; Register in advance for this meeting (link will be sent separately). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
