SUMMARY:November Pack Meeting - Meal Planning and Cooking Skills
DESCRIPTION:Our November Pack Meeting will focus on food and mealtimes\, using the same interactive format that we used in October. We will also continue to use Pack Meetings to help our Scouts advance in ranks\, making progress toward the Adventures required to continue toward the Arrow of Light. Emphasis will be placed on nutrition\, planning\, and meals that Scouts might make on their own. Den Chiefs from Troop 55 will once again be assisting with demonstrations and guidance for their younger Scout counterparts. Families should leave this meeting feeling more confident and prepared for meals at home and on a campsite. All Scouts are encouraged to attend.\nWe are meeting outdoors\, on the North Lawn at SJD. Please bring a camp chair or blanket for your comfort. Also\, don’t forget your headlamps and flashlights – it will be dark!
