DESCRIPTION:Happy New Year\, Pack 55 Families!\nJoin us for our first monthly committee meeting of 2023 on THIS THURSDAY evening on Zoom. All are encouraged to attend. Even if you are still travelling for the holiday\, you are able to call into this short Zoom meeting from anywhere.\nWe have a very busy start to 2023 with our Galveston State Park campout on MLK weekend (REGISTER USING THE LINKS FROM CAMPMASTER MITCHELL FULLER ASAP – join for one\, two\, or all three nights of camping\, whatever works for your family’s schedule; also get your family’s PART A/B MEDICAL FORMS submitted – these are required for all attendees). We also have Pinewood Derby and the Blue and Gold Banquet coming up in February\, and we need lots of volunteers to make those events happen. Join us for the monthly committee meeting to prepare for these fun activities.\nDo you enjoy participating in the campouts? How about the Pinewood Derby? If the answer is yes\, then come and take one hour out of your month to meet with our adult leaders and parents to help plan for the upcoming pack events. All adults are welcome to attend. DESCRIPTION:A Scout is Reverent.\nWe are pleased to invite your family to join us for this year’s Pack 55 Religious Award program. This is a voluntary program offered by St. John the Divine for all Cub Scouts. Scouts will have fun earning their Religious Emblem as a small group. The four\, 1-hour sessions will be led by Rev. Reagan Cocke at St. John the Divine.\nThe religious award your scout earns at the end of this program can be worn on their Scouts BSA uniform for the remainder of their scouting career.\nThe per scout cost is $30\, which covers teaching materials and awards to be presented at Scout Sunday in February 2023.\nAll are welcome to attend\, regardless of your religious affiliation. Your own religious institution may offer similar\, tailored programs.\nRegister below before November 23rd so we can ensure we have an accurate headcount\, and we can order the correct number of supplies.
