DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun Pre-Campout Expo and find out who the current online popcorn top sellers by rank are at the October Pack Meeting!  \nWe will use our October Pack Meeting as a Camping Expo in anticipation of our Pack 55 Fall Campout which is scheduled for 11/04 – 11/06.  This Expo will be ideal both for new families who have less experience camping as well as seasoned veterans who are looking to brush up on their skills.  Featured topics will include: campout cooking\, camping gear both basic and advanced\, and basic camping skills like how to pitch a tent.  This content will be delivered through live demonstrations in a format that will allow ample time for questions. DESCRIPTION:A Scout is Reverent.\nWe are pleased to invite your family to join us for this year’s Pack 55 Religious Award program. This is a voluntary program offered by St. John the Divine for all Cub Scouts. Scouts will have fun earning their Religious Emblem as a small group. The four\, 1-hour sessions will be led by Rev. Reagan Cocke at St. John the Divine.\nThe religious award your scout earns at the end of this program can be worn on their Scouts BSA uniform for the remainder of their scouting career.\nThe per scout cost is $30\, which covers teaching materials and awards to be presented at Scout Sunday in February 2023.\nAll are welcome to attend\, regardless of your religious affiliation. This is a voluntary program offered by St. John the Divine for all Cub Scouts. Scouts will have fun earning their Religious Emblem as a small group. The four\, 1-hour sessions will be led by Rev. Reagan Cocke at St. John the Divine.\nThe religious award your scout earns at the end of this program can be worn on their Scouts BSA uniform for the remainder of their scouting career.\nThe per scout cost is $30\, which covers teaching materials and awards to be presented at Scout Sunday in February 2023.\nAll are welcome to attend\, regardless of your religious affiliation. Even if you are still travelling for the holiday\, you are able to call into this short Zoom meeting from anywhere.\nWe have a very busy start to 2023 with our Galveston State Park campout on MLK weekend (REGISTER USING THE LINKS FROM CAMPMASTER MITCHELL FULLER ASAP – join for one\, two\, or all three nights of camping\, whatever works for your family’s schedule; also get your family’s PART A/B MEDICAL FORMS submitted – these are required for all attendees). We also have Pinewood Derby and the Blue and Gold Banquet coming up in February\, and we need lots of volunteers to make those events happen. Join us for the monthly committee meeting to prepare for these fun activities.\nDo you enjoy participating in the campouts? How about the Pinewood Derby? If the answer is yes\, then come and take one hour out of your month to meet with our adult leaders and parents to help plan for the upcoming pack events. All adults are welcome to attend.
