Our November pack meeting will focus on internet safety for scouts and the Cyberchip badge requirements. We will cover the following topics:
– Cyberchip Badge and general background
– What to do if a Scout sees something online that makes him or her feel uncomfortable or worried
– Being smart/safe when watching YouTube
– Playing online games safely
– Meeting/talking with others online (personal info and safety)
– Being kind to everyone online. Good netiquette
Scouts that participated in our pack’s popcorn fundraiser will be recognized at this month’s pack meeting! All participants will receive a certificate, treat and popcorn patch. Our pack’s top 3 sellers will be revealed and receive trophies. Finally, come and find out which 3 lucky raffle winners will be going home with night vision goggles!
