Blue and Gold Banquet

We look forward to seeing you and your scouts at the Blue and Gold Banquet on Thursday (February 22nd, 6:30 PM) at St John the Divine. Dinner will be served!
We have great entertainment provided by Mad Science Houston with an interactive science show called “Up, Up, and Away,” (description below). Award Ceremonies, Food and Prizes are also planned for this event. Don’t miss out on this really fun annual event!
Every pack meeting is a recruiting event – bring a neighbor, a friend, or a classmate with you to see how much fun Cub Scouting is. All are welcome.
At this pack meeting we will also be conducting the Spring service project. We are collecting needed canned food items for the Houston Food Bank. Each family who donates will get a raffle ticket to win a prize. Click this link for an easy-to-use chart on which food items the Houston Food Bank has requested:

Up, Up, and Away!
Explore the properties of Air and pressure in this series of pneumatically magical experiments. Dueling bathroom plungers and the Magdeburg Hemisphere reveal the awesome power of air pressure. Students will discover what Bernoulli’s principle has to do with toilet paper and a few lucky kids get to ride our Mad Science Hovercraft!
