- Arrival
- Sunday, June 9th between 1-3PM

- We expect most scouts to be picked up Friday Evening (Closing campfire begins at 7:00pm and should be over by 9:00pm)
- Parents can attend Friday Family Night beginning at 4:30pm
- Attendees must bring a medical form with them (Parts A & B)
- Order meals for Family night here (Do not order cots)

- There is no organized transportation to the camp. It is located about 90 mins north of Houston and we have camped there twice this school year so you should be familiar with the location.

Scouts
- BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (Part A, B, & C) with copy of Health Insurance card
- This will need to be signed by a physician
- Merit Badge Selection Form
- Due No Later than May 10
Adults
- Must be registered with Troop 55 as an adult
- Copy of current Youth Protection Training Certificate
- Copy of Hazardous Weather Training Certificate
- Adult in Camp Compliance Form
- Complete by May 20th
- BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (Part A, B, & C) with copy of Health Insurance card

- Adult Summer Camp Form
- Due by May 10, 2024

- BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (part A, B, C) signed by a physician (within one year of camp)
- Send a well-hydrated Scout. Scouts should begin hydrating the day before camp.
Clothing
- Field uniform (Scout uniform) and belt
- Activity uniform (Scout t-shirts) (5)
- Socks (5 pair)
- Shorts, Scout shorts (5)
- Sweater or light jacket
- Shoes (closed-toe) or hiking boots
- Cap or hat
- Underwear (5)
- Pajamas or sleeping clothes
- Rain gear (pants and jacket)

- Gloves and work clothes for service project
- Cooling towel, highly recommended
Camping Gear
- Sleeping bag or blankets, sheet

(The Troop has reserved rental cots) - Flashlight and extra batteries

- Water bottle – marked with name and troop #
- Water bottle clip to attach water bottle to belt loop or backpack
- Sports drink powder packs for water bottles (not energy drinks)
- Backpack (day pack)
- Insect repellent (non-aerosol)
- Mosquito netting
- Portable chair or camp stool
- Pocket knife and Totin’ Chip
- Lockable storage container, recommended to keep clothes dry, available at big box stores)

- Merit badge book for each class; read each book prior to camp (purchase from the Scout Shop).

- Family night (parents can purchase tickets online to eat on Friday night)
- Special attire: Tuesday wear your favorite college shirt; Wednesday sport your favorite OA apparel; Thursday don vintage camp shirts and Friday show off your silly hat.
