Kerr Creek Farm (Approx 90min Drive from SJD)
Transportation
Due to COVID-19 Social Distancing Policies, scouts will need to travel by private vehicle to the campout.
What to bring
- Filled out Medical Form
 - Mask and Spare Mask
 - BSA Outdoor Essentials
 - Personal Food (Attendees will cook for themselves)
- Boiling water will be provided

Requirements Covered

The Troop 55 FCT Program as had wonderful success over the summer transitioning to primarily virtual completion of the requirements. Any requirements we felt could not be completed virtually were postponed. COVID-19 is still impacting our community, but will be scheduling select requirements to completed in person. This will occur while strictly following the below guidelines.
OPT OUT
No scout is required to attend any in-person activities. If a scout or a parent/guardian are uncomfortable with the potential risks of in-person activities. We will attempt to accommodate these activities virtually on a case by case basis.
HEALTH CHECK
All attendees must be able to answer “No” to all of the questions below:
Within the past 48 hours:
- Have you had Fever, Chills, or Repeated Shaking/Shivering?
 - Cough?
 - Sore Throat?
 - Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing?
 - Feeling Unusually weak or Fatigued?
 - Loss of taste or smell?
 - Muscle Pain?
 - Headaches?
 - Runny or Congested Nose?
 - Diarrhea?
 
Withing the last 14 days:
- Have you come in contact with someone who has COVID-19?
 - Have you traveled outside of the United States?
 
LOCATION
All Troop 55 FCT Events will take place outdoors until further notice. Events held at SJD will most often occur on the lawn area on the North side.
GROUP SIZE
Every effort will be made to keep groups under 10 people including adult leaders and scouts. Online signup sheets will be created for each activity with time slots for participants.
MASKS AND FACE COVERINGS
Masks covering nose and mouth are required to be worn at all times during and FCT Events. The only exception will be during physical fitness requirements where substantial distancing will be observed. Scouts not observing this rule will be asked to sit to the side until their parents come to remove them from the event
SOCIAL DISTANCING
Scouts will be required to maintain 6ft of distance from other people at FCT Events. There may be occasion for where Scouts need to be closer for a particular requirement; but they will be masked at all times, and those occasions will be limited to the smallest duration possible

Troop 55 Herman Park Orienteering
REQUIREMENT TO BE FULFILLED
First Class 4A: Using a map and compass, complete an orienteering course that covers at least one mile and requires measuring the height and/ or width of designated items (tree, tower, canyon, ditch, etc.).
